I had to paint these brilliant fall colors on the trees along 35th Avenue south of Multnomah Village.
11th and Davis oil, 16 by 20 in.
The old Portland trolleys only run once in a while. Normally the newer trolleys run on these tracks on 11th Street. So this is a composite using a photo of one of the old trolleys.
This is Nancy and me when we visited the Sam Adams brewery in Boston. Since it was my birthday my daughter Kelly and I got to sample some "Utopia". Wow was it good!

"Cupcakes"
8x10 Oil on panel
Done as part of the River Sea Gallery special exhibit "Objects of Desire"
I am a Bend, Oregon, artist who paints in a variety of mediums; oil, watercolor and acrylic. I've recently been working on about everything under the sun, Still life, urban street scenes, dogs, fruit. And I'm doing more and more plein air, finding these paintings sometimes more satisfying than studio painting from photographs.
